Character
A heavy oak door swings shut behind you, cutting the chill from the street. Inside the dimly lit room, the air is a thick curtain of scent. Lemon balm and bergamot catch the first breath, bright and sharp against the warmth of the space. Wormwood and mint thread through the opening, adding a crisp, herbal bite that keeps the sweetness in check. Aldehydes shimmer like dust in a shaft of low light, lifting the lily-of-the-valley into a clear, sparkling ring above the heavier notes. Lavender sits quietly in the background, cool and clean, giving the entrance a composed, almost reserved air before the heart of the composition begins to unfold.
Larkspur and gardenia soften the edges, their creamy petals resting against the pepper and cloves that prick the air with a gentle heat. Violet and iris add a powdery, root-deep weight, while the rose offers a familiar floral touch without dominating the scene. Tolu balsam and Peru balsam bring a golden, resinous depth, wrapping the flowers in a warm, slightly sticky hold. Sandalwood and patchouli ground the blend with earthy wood, and oakmoss lends a shadowed green tone that settles into the corners of the room. Vetiver and musk stretch out underneath, a quiet, lingering base that holds the whole moment in place as the night continues
