Zafirah
Fragrance notes
Character
Zafirah opens with pomelo, peach, and mandarin orange that give a bright and juicy introduction. The citrus feels fresh without becoming sharp, and the peach adds a soft roundness that carries the opening forward. This part of the composition feels lively and welcoming, drawing attention through its fruit-forward character before the rest of the structure takes shape.
In the heart, honey joins orange blossom, jasmine, and gardenia to create a rich and heavily sweet white floral phase. The honey accentuates the sugary side of the flowers, while the orange blossom and jasmine provide a classic floral clarity. Gardenia adds a creamy touch that makes the middle feel dense and smooth. Together with the caramel, musk, and patchouli in the base, the scent settles into a deep and golden profile that suits a cold day and a quiet indoor setting.
The sweetness stays prominent throughout, and the honey and caramel together push the blend toward a heavy gourmand impression. Patchouli adds an earthy depth, but it does not reduce the sugar. Musk keeps the foundation soft rather than dry. Composed by Edison Fujita, Zafirah is rich and cohesive, yet the intensity of the honey and caramel can feel overwhelming for those who prefer a lighter or more balanced floral.
