Cedar in the base adds a dry, pale wood that sits quietly behind the sweeter elements.
Vanilla and amber carry most of the drydown, smooth and warm without becoming thick. White musk spreads a clean, faintly soapy veil across the skin. The marine accord from the sea notes drifts through the later stages, unexpected against the vanilla but never loud. The powdery character stays present throughout, sometimes reading more like vintage face powder than fresh air. The anisic top note lingers in the background long after the opening, tying the wood and flower together. The limitation here is the sweetness.
