The dressing room is warm, filled with the soft rustle of fabric and the scent of pressed powder. Here, So & So by Yves de Sistelle lives among the hairspray mist and silk scarves. The air carries a distinct praline sweetness, thick and almost edible, yet it is the fresh cut of apple that prevents the space from feeling heavy. It mixes with the pale dust of jasmine, creating a gourmand floral that feels less like a perfume and more like a polished accessory resting on a vanity table.
This is a composition that prioritizes comfort over mystery. The vanilla and sandalwood create a creamy, balsamic foundation that wraps around the wearer like a soft cardigan. It is a woody and powdery atmosphere, familiar and welcoming to those who enjoy a warm spicy character in their scent. There is a distinct amber glow here, but it lacks the sharp edges or the green bite that might give it a unique personality. It smells pleasant, safe, and entirely mainstream.
The limitation sits in the execution of the patchouli. Rather than adding a sophisticated earthy depth, it feels somewhat synthetic and flat against the bright fruit. The peach and red berries blur together into a generic sugary haze, making it difficult to distinguish this specific blend from dozens of similar floral fruity releases.
