Our take

A linen dress on a warm balcony calls for a scent that does not weigh down the air. Northern Lights suits someone moving through an open garden with a glass of cold water in hand. It fits a morning spent near tall grass and bright windows. The person who wears it enjoys white blooms without wanting a heavy, resinous cloud around them.

Tuberose and gardenia lead the heart with a creamy density that still feels lifted by jily and jasmine. Bourbon vanilla adds a smooth sweetness that rests on sandalwood and Haitian vetiver. The wood keeps the flowers from becoming a flat sugar blend. Green notes run through the accords and give the white floral core a fresh, leafy edge. The powdery facet softens the sharper edges of the vetiver. Each element stays distinct instead of melting into a single blurred tone.

The aromatic side can read a bit sharp when the green facets first appear. Some wearers will find the tuberose too dominant and less versatile than a lighter floral. The vanilla is present but does not fully round out the brighter top, so the transition feels slightly uneven. It is a fragrance with a clear personality that may not suit a minimalist wardrobe.
