Character
Grapefruit and pineapple lead the opening with a bright, tart citrus that feels immediate and energetic. Bergamot smooths the edges so the fruit does not turn sharp or thin. The first impression is clean and uplifting, moving quickly into a greener, more grounded space.
Patchouli and cedar take over the middle with an earthy, woody depth that feels dry rather than sweet. Jasmine adds a soft white floral layer that keeps the heart from becoming too heavy or monotone. Oakmoss in the base pulls the entire composition toward a classic chypre texture that is mossy, slightly bitter, and firmly masculine.
The blend works best in cool air and overcast days when the citrus stays crisp and the woods feel natural against the skin. The fruity accord is present but restrained, and the warm spicy facet never overwhelms the cleaner notes. The limitation here is the jasmine, which can read slightly synthetic and detached from the otherwise cohesive woods and moss.
