Amberland
Fragrance notes
Character
Amberland is a cold-weather companion for the person who likes their florals weighed down by resin. Labdanum opens the composition with a sticky, herbal depth that grapefruit brightens without ever making cheerful. The citrus is there to cut the heavy gum of the labdanum, not to lead the charge.
Rose and pink pepper form the heart, but the flower here is not fresh. It is velvety and dark, pushed forward by the bite of the pepper. This spiced floral core sits comfortably on the skin without demanding the attention of the entire room.
Vanilla and amber anchor the base, creating a musky warmth that feels appropriate for a brisk walk through a market or a quiet evening near a wood stove. The sweetness is present, but the amber keeps it grounded in something earthy rather than sugary.
It is the scent of pulling a heavy wool coat tighter while the air turns sharp and the streetlights reflect off damp pavement.
