Bergamot Amber
Fragrance notes
Character
Bergamot Amber opens with a bright spray of bergamot and plum, softened immediately by orange blossom. The citrus is present but not sharp, and the plum adds a round, dark fruitiness that keeps the start from feeling like a standard cleaning product. As the fragrance moves into its heart, amber and iris take over. The iris brings a soft powder that sits beside the amber without letting it dominate. Lotus and rose are lighter here, adding a clean floral layer that prevents the center from becoming too heavy. The transition is smooth, and the notes do not fight for space.
The base is built on praline and vanilla, which create a sweet, edible warmth. Sandalwood and musk ground the sweetness so it does not become cloying, but the praline note can feel a bit synthetic against the natural wood. The powder from the iris carries through to the end, making the entire composition feel consistent from the first spray to the final drydown. It suits a cool evening where a warm, sweet skin scent feels appropriate. The one limitation is the synthetic edge in the drydown, which can distract from the otherwise smooth blend of amber and wood.
