The first impression is a bright apple and citrus mix, lifted by a cool sage leaf that smells like crushed herbs on a workbench. It feels crisp and awake, a clean start to the day that suits a man who fixes things with his hands.
As the morning goes on, a white jasmine peeks through, softened by a dusting of tonka bean that adds a gentle sweetness. Black pepper gives the air a dry, tingling edge. The base settles into a resinous amber and patchouli combination, supported by musk and the distinct, dry scent of sequoia wood. It smells like a blend of polished timber and warm skin, aromatic and herbal without becoming dark or severe.
The composition leans heavily on that synthetic apple and candy-like tonka, which can feel a bit loud and artificial against the natural wood. It lacks a deep, grounding earthiness that would give it more maturity.
