Our take

Vanilla orchid opens Cheirosa '59 soft and warm, immediately sweet without any citrus or green note to cut through it first. Sugar and violet take over almost right away, turning the whole thing powdery and a little candied. Its staying power sits just past the halfway point, not fleeting but not particularly stubborn either, and it keeps to itself around the wearer, a sweetness someone would need to lean in close to really catch. Sandalwood is the only thing in the base, and it barely registers against how much sugar and vanilla dominate everything above it, adding only the faintest bit of grain to an otherwise smooth, sweet composition.

It doesn't lean toward one particular season, since there's no heavy amber or spice tying it to cold weather specifically. What you get is a simple, one-note idea done cleanly, vanilla and sugar with barely any development between the first spray and the drydown. That simplicity is either exactly what someone wants from a quick, sweet layer, or a real limitation for anyone hoping a fragrance develops and shifts in character.
