Our take

Benzin opens with a harsh pour of cognac and rum that feels like a drink spilled on a leather jacket in a dim garage. Walnut adds a dry, bitter edge to the smoke, keeping the first impression rough and unpolished. It does not try to be smooth. The entrance is loud and slightly abrasive, which fits a fragrance named after fuel. You get the sense that this is not meant for polite introductions or bright spaces.

The heart settles into a dense thicket of leather and birch, supported by the slow burn of palo santo and frankincense. Guaiac wood deepens the texture until the base takes over with a heavy dose of castoreum and vetiver. Amber warms the edges, but the musk here is dark and animalic rather than clean. This is where the fragrance lives, sitting close to the skin like engine grease and old wood. It suits someone who wants a scent that feels lived in and aggressive, not a decorative accessory. Those who prefer fresh citrus or soft florals will find this composition far too stubborn and raw. It is a fragrance built for standing near a bonfire or walking empty streets at night. The final impression is a lingering, smoky leather.
