MALAK opens with a bright spray of lemon and bergamot that feels like sunlight hitting a stone courtyard after rain. The citrus is sharp and clean, not candied, and it gives way to a heart of ylang-ylang, jasmine, and rose. The flowers here are golden and heavy, with the ylang-ylang lending a creamy, almost banana-like richness that the jasmine and rose lift into the air. This is not a dewy spring bouquet.
