Our take

You can smell the ambition in the opening: a briny raspberry that snaps with red thyme, salty and tart like a cool breeze whipping through a market stall of dried herbs and ripe berries. That sea salt note is the trick, because it keeps the fruit from turning into jam and the thyme from going savory. Within minutes, the white suede rises like a soft, powdered glove, and flouve adds a dried-grass, almost hay-like sweetness that tempers the leather into something plush rather than tough. The base settles into a warm, resinous amber with sandalwood making the whole thing feel like a cashmere throw dusted with olibanum, a quiet, churchy incense that never gets loud.

The overall character reminds me of a worn suede jacket with a faint raspberry stain on the collar and incense smoke clinging to the sleeves. It feels softly powdery and musky, leaning gently aromatic and sweet, but the sillage is a whisper, barely 2.74 out of five. The longevity holds decently at moderate, so you get a few hours of intimacy before it fades into a skin scent. This is niche in spirit, restrained and layered, not screaming for attention.

Who should wear it? Someone who wants fragrance to be a private language, a second-skin affair of suede and warm resins. Skip it if you crave projection or a citrus blast that cuts through a room. Best worn on cool autumn evenings, before dinner or after a rain, when the air demands something close and comforting. One spritz to the chest, and let it speak softly.
