Our take

Sunlight warms a stone terrace where a glass of cassis juice sits beside a plate of mandarin slices. A light dusting of cinnamon rests on the fruit, more aromatic than hot, and the air carries that bright, citrus-spiced lift through the morning air. Cloves add a gentle bite to the breeze, but the moment belongs to the flowers that begin to unfold as the air settles.

Two roses, one from Turkey and one from Morocco, rise together with jasmine that traveled from India and Egypt. The petals feel fresh rather than heavy, a green floral fullness that does not shout across the space. This closeness keeps the scent personal, as if the flowers were arranged in a vase on the small table where you sit. The cloves stay tucked inside the bouquet, lending a soft spicy thread that prevents the blooms from feeling one-dimensional.

Apricot and peach blossom arrive slowly, their fruitiness rounded by bourbon vanilla that lingers on the skin for a generous stretch. The vanilla does not dominate, instead letting the stone fruit and the pale blossom carry the final impression while the earlier spices fade into a faint memory. You notice the scent each time you lean toward the table, the warmth of the fruit and the flowers still unfolding as the light continues to move across the terrace and the air
