Rosi Rosa – The Floral
Fragrance notes
Character
Rosi Rosa – The Floral opens with a sharp, resinous punch of Thailand oud and Assam oud that feels almost medicinal before the air settles. Raspberry appears quickly, bright and slightly tart, cutting through the heavy wood with a clean fruit edge. Rose sits in the middle, soft but not powdery, bridging the dense opening and the greener elements that follow. Hinoki and fir bring a cool, sappy freshness that keeps the floral heart from feeling too heavy. Damask rose lingers in the base, deeper and more earthy than the rose in the heart, giving the entire composition a layered, garden-like depth.
The scent feels crafted for a warm afternoon that slowly cools into a crisp evening, where the air carries both dry wood and crushed petals. It suits someone who enjoys rose but wants the flower surrounded by forest textures and a touch of animalic weight. The raspberry adds a playful lift that prevents the oud from dominating completely. The limitation here is the raspberry. On some skin it turns sharply synthetic, leaning into an artificial candy tone that clashes with the natural wood and rose. That artificial edge can distract from the otherwise elegant balance of resin, petal, and sap.
