Character
The workshop sits quiet under a single hanging bulb. Curls of pale wood litter the bench, and the air holds the dense scent of Texas cedar and Australian sandalwood. A slab of amber rests nearby, warm and resinous, while a faint trace of ambergris brings a raw, animalic breath to the room. Madagascar vanilla softens the edges, a sweet ribbon winding through the dry, powdery dust that hangs in the close air.
You lean against the worktable and breathe it in. The woods feel grounding and real, their dry grain offset by the smooth, golden weight of amber. That animalic touch keeps the atmosphere alive, preventing the vanilla from becoming too gentle. It is a space filled with material and memory, where the powdery haze clings to your sleeves and the scent feels carved from the surroundings rather than placed upon them.
The door stays shut and the outside world disappears. You stand among the cedar and sandalwood, wrapped in the comfort of vanilla and the deep, resinous pull of amber. The ambergris adds a final wild stroke to the air, leaving the powdery wood to settle around you in the dark.
