Our take

A market stall stands under a slow ceiling fan, its wooden counter scattered with sliced mango and a bowl of roasted hazelnuts. The air feels thick with tropical fruit, sweet and pulpy, while the nutty accord grounds the space with a warm, round texture. Spice lingers in the background, not sharp but sunlit, and a woody note holds the edges of the room together.

The fruit does not rush to leave. Mango remains present, now deeper and heavier, its juice reduced to a dense sweetness that clings to the air. Hazelnut grows richer here, moving away from the crisp shell and toward a creamy, almost oily warmth that softens the bright start.

Spice and wood take their time in the later stretch. The tropical accord fades into a gentle heat, and the woody facet begins to shape the space more than the fruit does. What started as a vivid market scene now feels like the interior of a carved wooden box that once held nuts and slices of ripe mango.

The limitation sits in the blend itself. The hazelnut and mango never quite settle into a single voice, so the scent feels caught between a snack and a perfume. It is pleasant, but the two main notes pull in different directions and the composition never fully resolves that tension.
