Our take

Frost L'Homme opens with a sharp citrus mix that feels thin and a bit harsh. The lemon and grapefruit arrive together in a bright spray that lacks roundness. There is a synthetic edge to the top that does not soften as the minutes pass. It is clean and loud for a moment, then the surface stays flat rather than developing depth.

Cedar enters soon after and gives the scent a dry, pale wood tone. It sits close to the skin and does not expand into a rich forest impression. Sea notes add a cool, airy touch that keeps the mood light. The aromatic accord supports the woods with a mild herbal feel that never grows bold.

Amber and patchouli form the base with a warm, earthy weight. The amber leans sweet and a little sticky, while the patchouli adds a dark soil note. Together they make the drydown heavier than the bright opening promised. The warm spicy accord sits in the background and adds a gentle heat.

The main drawback is the coarse citrus start that never fully settles. The lemon and grapefruit remain sharp and one-dimensional throughout the wear. The cedar and sea notes try to smooth the edges but cannot hide the rough opening. Frost L'Homme stays unbalanced because the top feels cheap next to the warmer base.
