Tabacco d'Autore
Fragrance notes
Character
The first impression is a cool, damp field of grass and artemisia. The herbal bitterness cuts through the air with a sharp clarity that feels like walking through a garden after rain. Bergamot adds a bright, citrusy lift that prevents the opening from feeling too heavy.
Tobacco and leather form the core of the scent. The tobacco is dry and leafy rather than sweet, resting against a smooth leather accord that suggests well-worn gloves. Patchouli and cedar anchor the blend with a woody depth, while amber and musk provide a soft, powdery warmth that lingers on the fabric of a wool coat.
Cashmeran and guaiac wood round out the base with a resinous, slightly sweet smoke. It is a scent for a person standing on a stone path, watching fog settle over a row of bare trees, the cold air mixing with the earthy scent of the soil underfoot.
