Our take

A ceramics studio at ten at night, windows dark, a single lamp over the wheel. Someone is cleaning up. The air is damp with water and clay dust, and Amber D’OR is already there. Bergamot opens it, thin and bright, a clean line over wet surfaces. Then the fruit shows. Melon and pineapple do not smell like a fruit bowl here. They smell like the juice that runs off a glaze bucket, sweet and a little sour, cut with the mineral smell of the room. It is not a bright, daytime fruit. It is fruit in a dark space, heavier than it looks. Vanilla and musk settle into the skin and stay. They do not project across the room. They stay close, the way studio clothes hold a scent after a long session. The bergamot fades early, and the heart stays sweet and wet for a long time. The vanilla finally dries into something powdery and woody, but the fruit never really quits. The limitation is the balance. The melon and pineapple are strong, and the woods and musk never quite catch up. It smells good, but it leans sweet in a way that can feel one‑note after a while.
