White Orchid
Fragrance notes
Character
White Orchid begins with a tart black currant that feels slightly thin, as if the fruit was sliced too early and left to sit out. The sharp edge carries through the first few minutes, refusing to soften into the flowers that follow. Rose and jasmine arrive together, their petals pressed close, and the currant sharpness lingers at the edges of the bloom rather than fading away completely.
The air is cool and the sky has gone dark, streetlights reflecting off damp pavement while a wooden bench still holds the warmth of the day. Palo santo burns somewhere nearby, its resinous smoke curling through the floral heart and pulling the rose away from anything pretty or delicate. White musk settles against the skin, fine and powdery, while vanilla adds a rounded sweetness that stays low rather than rising into the air. The flowers feel night-blooming here, heavy and closed, their scent drifting only when the breeze moves through the narrow street.
Magdalena Maria built a fragrance that stays close to the body, the vanilla and palo santo wrapping around each other while the musk blurs the outline of the petals, the currant still faintly present in the background like a memory of daylight that refuses to leave the room entirely as the evening continues
