Passion Essence
Fragrance notes
Character
Passion Essence carries a heavy, sweet density that can feel overwhelming if the air is warm or the skin is already warm. The combination of vanilla, praline, cacao and tonka bean pushes the blend toward a thick gourmand character that does not lift easily. Almond and coffee in the opening add a bitter edge, but they cannot cut through the weight that follows.
Jasmine, tuberose, orange blossom, rose and iris form a full white floral heart that leans creamy rather than fresh. Bergamot and lemon brighten the first minutes, then the base takes over with patchouli, amber, musk, cinnamon, palo santo and cacao. The scent stays near the body and remains present for a good while without expanding outward. It suits cooler air and a calm pace, not a busy day or a crowded room.
The density is the real drawback. Passion Essence is rich to the point of being tiring, and the spice does not lighten the load. Wear it when you want something steady and close, but be prepared for a fragrance that asks for restraint in how much you apply.
