Fragrance notes
Character
Rose opens the fragrance with a fresh, green edge from angelica that cuts through the soft ambrette. The flower itself feels clean and light, not drenched in sugar. This initial impression is brief and gives way to the core of the composition very quickly.
Sandalwood and iris form a thick, powdery cloud in the heart. Dreamwood adds a smooth, resinous texture that feels modern against the traditional myrrh. Cashmeran and Ambrox Super provide a synthetic warmth that pushes the scent toward a fuzzy, amber-like woodiness.
The drydown settles into a heavy layer of white musk. It sits directly against the skin, creating a soft, fuzzy blanket of scent that requires you to lean in to detect. The musky accord is persistent in its closeness, wrapping the wearer in a warm, spicy floral haze that never expands outward.
The synthetic nature of the Ambrox Super and Cashmeran can feel a bit sharp and plastic against the natural rose. This artificial sharpness distracts from the creamy sandalwood. It is a scent best suited for someone who enjoys a very intimate, musky skin scent during a bright, busy morning, though the chemical edge may bother those seeking a purely natural profile.
