Leather arrives with patchouli and sandalwood, and the drydown becomes the focus. The leather is smooth and quiet, not rugged. Patchouli brings an earthy depth that grounds the resin, while sandalwood rounds the edges with a creamy, woody texture. The amber accord ties the smoke and the balsamic notes together so the transition feels seamless. Powder from the iris lingers through the base, blurring the line between the resin and the wood. Sweetness stays present but never moves forward, held back by the dry, smoky air that runs through the entire composition.
