Our take

Charmante opens with a bright, almost fizzy burst of black currant and pear, the mandarin leaf adding a tart green edge that keeps the fruit from tipping into candy. Pitahaya and orange lend a watery citrus lift, and for the first few minutes it feels like a freshly sliced fruit salad served on a sunny patio. The heart softens quickly into a rose-and-raspberry jam, jasmine swirling through it with a clean, airy sweetness. On the dry down, cedar and musk give it a light, soapy backbone, but the amber is barely a whisper. The whole thing is a spring picnic basket left in the sun: pretty, cheerful, and evaporating before you finish your sandwich.

Longevity is a real letdown, barely three hours before the scent pulls a vanishing act, and sillage is shy to the point of being nearly intimate. That makes it a daytime-only affair, ideal for office wear or a casual brunch where you want to smell nice without announcing yourself. The composition feels mildly synthetic, which isn’t a flaw if you accept it as a breezy, unpretentious fruity floral rather than a niche masterpiece.

It suits someone who loves soft florals with a sweet, fresh edge and doesn’t demand performance. Skip it if you want something with body, depth, or staying power. This is a cloud that floats away, best enjoyed in the moment. 🍐🌹
