LOVESLEEP
Fragrance notes
Character
LOVESLEEP begins with a noticeable synthetic edge that carries through the first few minutes. The neroli and mimosa open bright and pollen-heavy, but the materials feel a touch manufactured rather than freshly picked. This sharpness softens as the heart develops, though it never fully disappears. Carnation and jasmine bring a clove-tinged warmth that sits close to the skin, while the lime blossom adds a pale green lift that keeps the florals from turning heavy. Tuberose is present but restrained, offering creaminess without the overwhelming weight it often carries in other compositions.
The base moves into ylang-ylang and oud, which add a resinous, slightly medicinal depth that contrasts the airy opening. Mushroom is an unusual inclusion and it reads as a damp, earthy undertone that grounds the sweeter florals. The overall impression is powdery and warm spicy, leaning fully into its yellow and white floral accords. This is a scent for humid air and open windows, for sitting near water when the light is strong and the air feels thick. The sweetness lingers in the fabric of what came before, curling around the spicy dryness of the oud while the petals continue to unfold
