Character
Grapefruit and orange open the composition with a bright, juicy citrus that feels immediate. The fruit is realistic rather than candied, giving the start a clean and energetic lift.
Black pepper enters soon after and adds a sharp bite to the geranium. The floral heart stays dry and structured, never leaning into soft powder or heavy sweetness.
Benzoin and cedar form a resinous wood base that grounds the vetiver and patchouli. The amber accord brings warmth, while the earthy side of the patchouli keeps the drydown from feeling polished or overly refined.
The blend can feel a little disjointed when the citrus meets the resin. The transition is abrupt, and the contrast between the juicy top and the heavy base may not settle for every nose.
