Our take

You spritz this and immediately get a blast of pink grapefruit and juniper so sharp it could slice through the hesitation in a dark chat room. The citrus and neroli are bright but not sweet, more like the cold glow of a phone screen at 2 AM. Then the heart twists: rosemary and lavender try to pull things toward a clean barbershop, but a dusty cyclamen and something spicy undercut that, like a formal shirt unbuttoned just one button too many. The base is where the real conversation happens. Ambrette and vanilla soften the cedar and vetiver into a skin-toned musk, warm and slightly sweaty, but the tonka bean keeps it from feeling dirty, just intimate.

This is a fragrance that thinks it’s a leather jacket but ends up being a cashmere hoodie borrowed from someone you’re not supposed to text. It sits close, with moderate sillage, and lasts a solid eight hours. The problem is the disconnect: the opening screams “clubbing at dawn,” but the drydown whispers “Netflix and chill.” That dissonance explains the low rating. It’s not bad, just confused.

Best worn on a spring night when you want to smell interesting without shouting. Skip it if you need straightforward sensuality or a clear story. This one lets you fill in the blanks, for better or worse.
