Fragrance notes
Salt air moves across the marina as bergamot cuts through the morning humidity. Cloves warm the edges of that bright opening, and the sharp green of violet leaf keeps the citrus from feeling thin. Jasmine drifts in after, soft and white, sitting above the water without weighing the air down. Tonka bean adds a rounded sweetness while amber settles underneath, giving the whole scene a golden, resinous floor. The accord feels aquatic and ozonic at first, then aromatic and fresh spicy as the breeze shifts. It is a clean, masculine presence that fits the dock, the boats, and the early light without ever becoming heavy or dark.
The composition leans on its accords more than its depth. The citrus, the green, and the white floral notes are clear, but the transitions between them feel rehearsed rather than spontaneous. Violet leaf and jasmine share the space politely without creating a distinct heart, and the base of tonka bean and amber supports the structure without offering much character of its own. It is pleasant and easy to wear in this setting, yet it lacks a defining detail that would make the moment memorable. The fragrance is competent, but it never surprises the person standing there.
