Ravenous
Fragrance notes
Character
Ravenous presents orange blossom and patchouli as equal partners. The white floral accord carries a soapy brightness that feels clean rather than lush. Citrus lifts the top of the blend, while warm spicy and woody facets give the composition a gentle structure. It is sweet, but the sweetness stays moderate and does not take over the scent. The overall impression is airy and approachable, suited to someone who enjoys floral perfumes with an earthy backbone.
As the fragrance develops, patchouli becomes the dominant presence. Its earthy and balsamic qualities deepen the blend, turning the soapy orange blossom into a soft backdrop rather than the main event. The woody and warm spicy accords grow more noticeable here, creating a grounded, slightly resinous texture. The white floral element remains, but it loses its initial crispness and settles into a rounded, slightly powdery warmth. This stage feels more serious than the beginning, moving away from bright cleanliness toward something heavier and more rooted.
The soapy accord persists throughout and eventually becomes the limitation. It never fully integrates with the balsamic patchouli, leaving a thin, slightly synthetic film over the deeper notes. The citrus that once felt fresh now reads as a sharp edge against the earthy base. For those who dislike that particular cleanser-like facet in white florals, the scent will feel unbalanced. The patchouli is rich, but the surrounding notes do not always support it gracefully.
