Greek Keys opens with a sharp, almost metallic slap of ozonic notes and calone, like sea spray hitting hot limestone. The pink grapefruit and mandarin orange buzz with a synthetic but cheerful tang, while rosemary and lemon cut through the haze, keeping things brisk. That initial burst is loud, a little abrasive, and the numbers reflect it: sillage is moderate at best, longevity around average. But give it time.
As the citrus settles, hedione and ambroxan smooth out the edges, introducing a soft floral-amber warmth. The cedar and vetiver start to ground the fragrance, though oakmoss and elemi resin add a faintly sour, green backbone. What emerges is the smell of a white-washed courtyard after a sudden summer shower: the stone still steaming, a crushed rosemary sprig underfoot, orange rind drying on a table. It feels mostly natural in its herbal moments, but the calone and ambient synth notes keep it squarely in the niche-but-accessible lane.
This is a daytime scent through and through, best for warm spring and scorching summer afternoons when you want to smell clean without being boring. It suits someone who enjoys a crisp citrus aromatic but can tolerate a little functional fizz from the aromachemicals. Skip it if you crave deep resinous complexity or prefer a fragrance that lasts past lunch. The heart is pleasant, but the drydown becomes a soft and familiar woody ambroxan, fading politely before dinner arrives. Is it worth the niche price? Only if the memory of that courtyard stays with you.
