The sun warms the glass of a greenhouse in late morning. Someone walks between the benches with a basket over one arm. Aldehydes catch the light first, bright and slightly metallic, before hyacinth and jasmine settle into the air around the collar. The opening feels crisp, a little sharp, like the air inside a room that has just been opened to the garden.
Acácia and mimosa begin to show as the walk continues past the potting table. Their pollen-heavy softness rounds the edges of the florals. Ylang-ylang adds a creamy weight that pulls the scent closer to the skin. The middle feels like standing near a wooden bench where cut stems have been laid down and the air is thick with yellow dust.
Honey becomes the center of the scene. It sits heavy and golden, not a drizzle but a thick spoonful that clings to the air. Synthetic civet pushes through with a slightly animal warmth that keeps the sweetness from floating away. Musk smooths the edges so the honey reads more like warm skin than a jar on a shelf. The base feels intimate, as if the scent has stopped moving through the space and has decided to stay close to the person wearing it.
The basket is set down near a cluster of clay pots. A few stray stems of mimosa rest across the handle, still dusty, while the honey and musk continue to settle into the fabric of a sleeve, mixing with the warmth that rises from the soil and the wood
