Dancing Blue Bees
Fragrance notes
Character
Dancing Blue Bees opens with ylang-ylang paired with black pepper and bergamot. The pepper gives a dry, slightly sharp edge to the yellow floral start, while the citrus keeps the opening bright and clean. This is not a heavy or oily entrance. The floral side feels immediate and direct, with the spice sitting close to the surface rather than taking over.
Lavender and jasmine form the heart. The lavender adds an aromatic, slightly powdery quality that bridges the pepper and the flowers, while the jasmine smooths the blend with a soft white floral tone. Vanilla bean, tonka bean, and honey sit in the base. The honey is noticeable and pushes the sweetness forward, supported by the warm, rounded vanilla and the mild almond-like depth of tonka.
The accord list includes fresh spicy, yellow floral, white floral, aromatic, floral, powdery, and honey. The overall impression is sweet and powdery with a clear honeyed vanilla finish. The lavender and pepper prevent it from becoming flat, but the honey and tonka can feel dense and a little repetitive. The sweetness is prominent throughout and may overwhelm anyone who prefers a drier, lighter floral.
