Our take

The bar is dim, lit only by the amber glow of bottles stacked behind the counter. A glass sits nearby, filled with dark cherry and a splash of liquor that smells like it has been soaking almonds overnight. I Want lives in that glass. The bitter almond cuts through the fruit, keeping the cherry from becoming a candy shop. Plum adds a heavy roundness that makes the air feel thick.

Turkish rose floats above the fruit, not bright but velvet dark, while jasmine sambac gives the drink a floral lift that feels almost fizzy. You lean in and catch the warmth of cinnamon and cloves swirling through the sweetness. Sandalwood grounds the moment, a smooth wood that keeps the scent from floating away too fast.

The vanilla and tonka bean wrap around the spices, creating a balsamic warmth that feels like sitting in a velvet chair with a heavy drink in hand. Benzoin and Peru balsam add a resinous depth that makes the air smell expensive. The scent stays near, moving with you as you reach for the glass, never shouting across the room.

Vetiver and cedar add a dry edge to the base, but the patchouli here feels muddy against the clean almond. The blend becomes a bit cluttered as the minutes pass, losing the sharp opening that made the first breath so inviting.
