Ghalya
Fragrance notes
Character
Ghalya opens with a bright, aromatic lift of cardamom and citrus. Bergamot, mandarin orange, neroli, and orange blossom create a sunny, slightly peppery entrance that feels polished rather than sharp. The spices give it a clean edge while the orange tones keep the mood warm and inviting.
The heart turns soft and powdery. Marshmallow and heliotrope add a fluffy sweetness, but jasmine, Bulgarian rose, and ylang-ylang bring a classic white floral character that keeps it from feeling like candy. Orris in the base reinforces that powdery elegance and ties the florals to the deeper materials.
Amber, musk, frankincense, and oud form a rich, resinous foundation. Ambergris adds a gentle animalic warmth that makes the blend feel lived in and slightly wild. The frankincense offers a dry, spiritual smoke that balances the sweetness above it.
This is a fragrance that smells like walking into a sunlit courtyard where a market stall is selling fresh flowers next to a brazier of frankincense.
