A narrow street winds between stone buildings as the evening air cools. The resinous smoke of frankincense rises first, clean and dry, curling upward without the heavy sweetness that usually follows a warm spice. It feels carved from air rather than poured from a bottle, a sharp and sacred opening that demands attention before the deeper materials arrive.
Amber and oud soon press forward, the amber smooth and golden, the oud dark and slightly woody. They sit close together, neither fighting for space nor blending into a single blur. White musk settles beneath them, adding a soft powder that keeps the resin from feeling too severe. The air carries a quiet richness, the kind that belongs to a path lit by lanterns and lined with closed doors, where the night feels composed and deliberate.
The scent stays within the stillness of that walk, moving with the person who wears it rather than reaching outward to announce itself. Frankincense and amber hold their ground against the cool air, while the musk leaves a fine trace on fabric and skin.
