Sweet Sedge opens with a sharp bite that can feel abrasive if you expect a gentle entrance. Pink pepper and peppermint hit at once, brisk and cooling, while patchouli adds a damp earthiness that leans muddy before the heart notes arrive. The initial spray does not invite you in with softness. It stands upright and rigid, almost clinical, until the spices begin to stir.
You are standing in a wooden pavilion just after rain, the air still heavy and humid, watching steam rise from a cup of spiced tea. Ylang-ylang and jasmine float through the space, their petals crushed near cinnamon and nutmeg, while rose adds a faint blush of color to the haze.
