Our take

Big strawberry and peach lead the opening, supported by bright citruses that keep the fruit from feeling heavy. The fruit is present and clear, then the heart arrives with rose, ylang-ylang, violet, jasmine, carnation, orris, cloves, lily-of-the-valley and African orange flower. The flowers are numerous and layered, with clove adding a warm edge that sits beside the powdery orris and the fresh lift of lily-of-the-valley. The composition feels dense and traditional, moving steadily through many floral facets without rushing.

The base brings oakmoss, leather, castoreum, civetta, styrax, vetiver, amber, sandalwood, musk and patchouli. The leather and animalic materials give the drydown a deep, textured character that stays close to the skin while reaching outward enough to be noticed in a room. Oakmoss and vetiver add an earthy, mossy foundation, while amber, sandalwood, musk and patchouli round it out with warmth and a faint smoky trace. The materials feel substantial and persistent, carrying the scent through a long wear that does not fade quickly.

This is a woody, leather and animalic fragrance with powdery, earthy, warm spicy, mossy and smoky facets. It suits a crisp morning walk under bare trees or a quiet indoor evening when the air feels cool and still. The fruit and flowers soften the heavy base, but the overall impression stays serious and mature. People who want a light, modern sweetness will not enjoy it. The scent holds firmly to its floral and leather core, ending on amber.
