Saffron meets bergamot and mandarin orange in a bright opening that feels immediate and confident. The spice does not sit heavy here. It lifts the citrus into something sharper and more defined, giving the early minutes a clean energy that avoids the usual sugary trap of orange-forward blends.
Wormwood enters with black currant and rose to steer the heart toward something greener and more bitter. The fruit is present but restrained, and the rose stays low, adding texture rather than a floral wave. This is where the composition shows its character, leaning into the aromatic side of its profile.
Patchouli, vetiver, cedar, oakmoss, tonka bean, and black pepper build a base that is woody, earthy, and warm spicy without becoming dark or overwhelming. The moss and pepper keep the drydown dry and alert, while the tonka softens the edges just enough to make the whole structure wearable across a long afternoon outdoors.
