Fig
Fragrance notes
Character
A stone terrace sits in full sun, the air dry and warm against the skin. Perfumer H Fig lives entirely inside this stillness. Fig leaf and petitgrain give the air a crushed, resinous green that feels like pressing a thumb against a stem. Black pepper crackles through the green, a tiny heat that keeps the air from feeling flat. Cedar and frankincense add a clean, pale wood that never darkens or settles into smoke. Rose oil floats a soft, barely sweet petal across the top, while musk and a lactonic accord suggest the creamy flesh of the fruit without turning heavy. The scent stays near, moving only as close as the skin allows, and it holds this exact shape for a steady while before the edges soften.
There is no rush to become something else. The citrus in the accords brightens the green rather than lifting it into sharp brightness. Warm spicy sits quietly beside the aromatic notes, a background hum that makes the space feel lived in. The fragrance does not project outward to announce itself. It remains a private atmosphere, one that belongs to the person standing in the light and to the few inches of air that move around them.
Sunlight falls across the stone and the green scent lingers in that narrow space, the pepper and the wood and the cream all breathing together in the heat.
