Our take

Gaia smells like a velvet curtain drawn across a dim room where a bowl of dark cherries sits next to a burning cinnamon stick. Raspberry and ginger spark against the fruit, but the heat comes from the cinnamon, not the ginger. Rose and violet drift through the air with a soft powder, while patchouli pulls the flowers down into something earthier. The base does not wait its turn. Oud and amberwood press forward early, heavy and resinous, with vanilla smoothing the edges so the wood never turns sharp. Musk lingers in the background, giving the whole composition a skin-like warmth that feels intimate rather than loud.

This is not a bright morning scent. It belongs to evenings when the air is cool and the sky is dark, when a coat collar is turned up and the streetlights reflect off wet pavement. Someone who enjoys fragrance as a personal atmosphere rather than a performance will appreciate how the cherry deepens into wood and the spice settles into amber. It suits a quiet dinner, a late walk, or any hour when the world has slowed down and the air feels close.
