Our take

Raw Cherry opens with a burst of sour fruit that feels almost violent, a sharp cherry liqueur cut by citrus that snaps like a rubber band. The sourness is real, not a candy imitation, and it quickly starts to soften into something darker. The midphase brings in a woody warmth and a dusting of tonka bean, then the dark chocolate appears, not sweet but bitter, like the inside of a good truffle. That is when the fragrance finds its footing: a thick, resinous blend where the oud and amaretto and damask rose tangle together, sweet and animalic all at once.

This is a scent that feels like a cracked cherry pit, the tannic bitterness of the wood against the syrupy pulp. It is unapologetically dense, leaning synthetic in the best way, niche through and through. The longevity is strong, easily six hours on skin, but the sillage is moderate, which actually works in its favour, no one wants this much richness trailing them through a grocery store. This is a winter night scent, meant for dark coats and candlelit dinners, not for the office or a humid afternoon. Who should wear it? Someone who wants a cherry that bites back, who likes their sweetness wrapped in oud and cocoa. Who should skip? Anyone looking for a fresh, easy reach, this is a commitment, a full experience you have to be ready for.
