679 Ambrette Copaíba
Fragrance notes
Character
679 Ambrette Copaíba opens with a bright lift of bergamot and pink pepper, joined by lavender and the earthy root tone of priprioca. Capitiú adds a green accent that keeps the start from feeling sharp. The entrance feels clean and slightly textured at the same time.
The heart moves into iris and violet, supported by orange blossom, rose, and lily-of-the-valley. The floral side stays soft rather than lush, with the powdery facet of the iris and violet leading the way. Ambrette and musk in the base bring a gentle warmth, while copahu balm and amber add a resinous touch that grounds the flowers without weighing them down. Coumarin smooths the edges so the drydown feels rounded. The scent stays near the body and maintains a steady presence through a normal day without extending far outward.
This is a quiet composition built for close wear, and the floral musk feels tame throughout. The one drawback is that the priprioca and copahu balm never develop enough depth to balance the powder, so the blend can read a bit flat.
