Ginestra di Taormina
Fragrance notes
Character
The Sicilian hillside is bright with sun, and the air carries the golden sweep of broom across the path. Rose and ylang-ylang arrive early, soft and rounded, with jasmine and heliotrope adding a gentle creaminess to the walk. Orange blossom lifts through the middle, fresh and lightly citrus, while the orchid note gives the flowers a smooth, almost glassy surface that keeps the bouquet from feeling heavy.
As the afternoon settles, the same orange blossom returns deeper, tangled now with vanilla and a warm musk that clings to skin and fabric. Incense moves through the base in a thin, gray thread, dry and faintly resinous, pulling the sweetness toward something more grounded. The powder from heliotrope lingers, blurring the edges of each flower until the whole composition feels like a warm haze over the hillside, the vanilla humming quietly beneath the petals, the smoke curling upward while the light shifts across the valley and the air continues to hold its shape
