Thyme, rosemary and sage follow closely, each one distinct rather than blended into a single herbal wall. The opening smells clean and upright, more garden than laboratory.
Orange blossom and jasmine arrive with a soft white floral presence that sits lightly on the herbs. The flowers do not drown the top notes. They round the edges so the lavender feels calm instead of clinical. Sandalwood gives the base a smooth, creamy weight. Pepper and ginger add small sparks of heat that keep the wood from feeling flat. Amber ties the spices to the florals with a gentle warmth.
