Amberfume
Fragrance notes
Character
Amberfume opens with a clear absinthe thread that feels cool and herbal against the skin. The davana adds a soft, fruity curve that keeps the start from feeling sharp. Star anise and cardamom sit nearby, lending a gentle warmth that builds slowly.
Vanilla and benzoin create a thick, golden sweetness that rests beneath the resinous labdanum. Fir and cypriol bring a dry, woody edge that cuts through the sugar. Tobacco lingers in the background, giving the blend a faintly dusty, indoor air.
The whole composition feels suited to a quiet room with heavy curtains drawn against the cold. It is sweet without becoming cloying, powdery without turning flat, and aromatic in a way that stays close to the skin. Someone who enjoys resinous woods over bright citrus will find a lot to like here. The mimosa and rose barely surface, letting the balsamic base do most of the work
