Fragrance notes
Character
Kolido presents a composition that brings together pink pepper, rum, tonka bean, green mandarin, sandalwood, vanilla, musk and yuzu. The accord list reads rum, soft spicy, sweet, musky, woody, warm spicy, vanilla and amber. The notes sit close to one another rather than arriving in a sequence, so the impression is of a blend that stays mixed from the first moment.
The rum accord gives the scent a rounded, slightly boozy warmth that pairs with the sweet and vanilla facets. Pink pepper and green mandarin add a bright edge, while yuzu brings a tart citrus note that keeps the heavier elements from feeling flat. Sandalwood and musk sit underneath to give the blend a smooth, woody and musky foundation.
Tonka bean works alongside the amber accord to create a soft, lingering sweetness that feels suited to a warm room with the windows open to a cool breeze, or to a walk outside when the air has a crisp bite and the light is low. The mix feels at home in those moments without needing to announce itself loudly.
The overall effect is sweet and spicy with a woody, musky dry base. Vanilla and amber carry the blend through, supported by the quiet presence of sandalwood and musk. The scent closes on the vanilla accord.
