Manthoor opens with galbanum and pink pepper, a sharp green bite that feels immediate and cool. Iris smooths the edges without softening the overall shape. In the heart, sage and juniper sit beside apricot, which adds a rounded fruit note that never turns juicy. Mate and green grass keep the center of the fragrance leaning herbal and dry. The base brings patchouli and leather forward early, supported by birch and tonka bean. Sugar is present, but it wears a woody coat and stays close to the resinous notes. The overall impression is aromatic, earthy, and faintly smoky, with a balsamic warmth that builds slowly.
The blend feels dense rather than loud, with each accord occupying its own space. Green and woody lead, while sweet and warm spicy follow without overtaking the structure. It suits cooler days and evening wear, when the leather and patchouli can sit comfortably against heavier clothing. Composed by Ali Abdulla Almarzooqi for Touch Of Oud in 2017, the fragrance carries a niche weight in a straightforward presentation.
