Poppy opens with a tart rhubarb snap and a dewy greenness, like a stem freshly broken. That sharpness is quickly cushioned by sweet pear, and then the poppy note emerges, powdery and aquatic, more watercolor than oil. It dries down to a clean, faintly spicy floral whisper that sticks close to skin.
This is a single petal caught on a spring breeze, pretty but gone in under three hours. The longevity is barely two, the sillage a polite hush. It feels synthetic in the opening, but the dry down is a soft, inoffensive fresh-powder skin scent. Entirely mainstream, entirely fleeting.
Wear it for a morning coffee run, a daytime errand, a lunch date where you want to smell pleasant without demanding attention. It suits someone who values a light lift over endurance, or a teenager exploring fruity florals for the first time. Skip it if you want projection, depth, or any staying power. You will be reapplying before noon. Best in spring and summer, when the world is already bright enough and a whisper is all you need.
