TAURUS opens with a bright apricot note that carries a gentle tart edge, softened immediately by a dusting of cinnamon. The spice does not bite. It warms the fruit and prepares the way for the florals that follow. Jasmine and ylang-ylang form the heart, and the jasmine leans creamy rather than sharp. Ylang-ylang adds a smooth, slightly banana-like richness that blends with the lactonic quality in the background. The composition stays sweet throughout, but the sweetness feels rounded and powdery rather than sugary.
Cedar enters the base with a dry, polished wood character that contrasts the fruit and flowers above it. Leather sits beside the cedar, offering a material texture that is firm and slightly smoky in feel. The leather does not dominate. It supports the florals and keeps the apricot from feeling too playful. White floral and yellow floral accords intertwine here, giving the scent a classic floral structure that feels composed rather than chaotic. The powdery accord lingers through the final stages.
